Traditionally, silicone molds are made in blocks with square corners and thick walls.
It was thought that, thanks to the silicone’s flexibility, these bulky moulds would still perform better than rigid moulds made from plaster and fiberglass. While that is true to an extent, at Easybking, we have found that the extra bulk can make such molds tough to use, and so we refuse to make “block” molds. Instead, we design each and every one of our moulds to conform to the shape of the object our silicone molds produce. This results in a thinner mold wall that greatly increases flexibility and results in perfect un-molding every time
