Self-amalgamating tape can be used to repair and protect against corrosion on hose and plastic and metal tubes

Main features:

Very good electrical and physical properties the tape amalgamates quickly when applied under tension providing a void-free homogeneous wrapping without external heat
Highly resistant to prolonged immersion in the water and has a very good resistance to ozone

Applications:

Strip back the interleaving and stretch the tape to reduce its width by one third to keep the tape under tension and wrap over lapping successive layers by about 50%
Finish the wrapping by holding the tape and snap by stretching
High degree of stretching will prevent the inclusions of void and ensure a rapid self-amalgamation

Durability:

Life of the tape exposed out of doors is expected to be several years
If the tape will be subjected to abrasion an external covering by soft PVC tape is recommended
