Wireline Telemetry Cartridge (PLT)

The Wireline Telemetry Cartridge is an intelligent bridge between the surface system and downhole tools. It mainly consists of cable bus and tool bus interfaces, the master controller and step-down DC-DC power supply. The data is acquired and packed via tool bus, and then sent to surface panel via cable bus interface. The DAS sends data to the telemetry cartridge simultaneously to configure or control the cartridge and logging tools, achieving full-duplex communication between the surface system and the telemetry cartridge.

Application:

●    Acquire tool data and control tools via tool bus

●    Perform full-duplex communication with the surface system

●    Convert high voltage on cable bus into lower voltage for tool bus via DC-DC module
